On this VIDEO series episode of the What Matters podcast, around this new “normal” we’re all collectively living into, Michelle shares a conversation with Courtney Holmes a young adult member of Church of the Resurrection. They discuss how Courtney has been able to stay connected to the church and her community in the middle of the “stay at home” mandate. Courtney has attended the church for 4 years. Throughout that time she’s been involved in the disciple and missions ministries. She first got connected at the church through a small group that has since turned into an extension of her family. She was chosen by leaders of the church to be one of the 40 to go on the Young Adult Leaders Holy Land trip with Pastor Adam in 2018. She has been a leader on International mission trips and currently serves on church council. She shares that she’s found really meaningful connection through continuing to meet with her small group via Zoom and that it’s truly added an element of normalcy to a very odd time we find ourselves in.
